Mistake? I Don’t Think So. A Chicken with 4 Legs. September 30, 2006
Posted by Andrew in : News,Unknown , add a comment...please?This poor chicken ended up having 4 legs; the back 2 don’t work, but I disagree on the mutation happening as a freak of nature. You must consider this chicken was a victim of a egg or meat farm, as the article says, “among 36,000 other birds”. Also with all the junk they feed them and probably GMO or something, this should be expected.
Anyways, I feel for the poor thing. Well, I guess it IS better off, farms normally just kill the ‘problem’ birds. I’m glad they decided to keep her.

The Talkative Pet Bird September 29, 2006

Parrots are very interesting birds because of its mimicking abilities. When petting bird is your concern, it takes a lot difference than getting other domesticated animals for a household companion. A parrot is a noisy bird, more unpleasant if not given due attention and care. It is subject to emotional fits depending on how its instincts and traits developed from former habitat; to compliment or conform, to the lifestyle of the adopting family it embraced.

Video – Training Parakeets / Cockatiels September 28, 2006
Posted by Andrew in : Bourke's Parakeet,Budgerigar,Cockatiel,Lovebird,Video , 1 comment so farThis is a great video that clearly shows what tricks your budgie/parakeet or cockatiel or other small bird could learn to do in as few as 7 days!
Even if your bird is not a tame one, you can see results and impress your friends in a little as 7 days.
I highly suggest you check this out! Very interesting, if nothing else.
Click the video below to play!
The training program is similar to the program for large parrots, but this is specialized for small birds like budgerigars, rosy bourkes, parakeets, cockatiels, love birds, and many others!
