OH MY!! what is moving NOW!!! Dat’s what I’m thinking in that pitcure. Mom was cleaning my cage when it was taken. So silly the humans. Always having to clean and move things around. Hmmph, why do you humans hafta clean so much?? I just don’t get it. I don’t think I will ever understand you humans. NOt at all. Hmmmph.

I hope you didn’t mind my letting Lucky Von Beakmiester, write a blog. I think I didn’t pretty good. Don’t you?? He can be a little shy some times. He had a hard start in life. Lived with some evil poeple till he came here. He’s funny some times. He learned to bark like the rat puppy. It sounds so funny when he barks. Oh, it make me and mom laugh. So funny. He growls at dad when he comes into the our bird room. Dad just laughs at him. He is so silly. I’ll let him write again. I bet he will do a great job.

NOt much has been happening around here. MOm has been working again. Know more vaction. I liked it when she was on vaction, she was here to play with me when ever I wanted her. it was great. I miss that.

I got to go for now. I’ll write back soon.

Introducing Lucky the One-Eyed Quaker Parrot April 24, 2007

Lucky the one-eyed quaker parrot

Good evening everybirdie…I’m Lucky Von Beakmiester, Chester P Featherbutt’s brother. Chester wanted me to write in tonight. So here it goes.

You see me in that picture, I’m trying to read the poster behind my cage. Yup, I’m taking a bath. Mom said you can read and take a bath at the same time. She is rite. It was lot’s of fun. I love taking baths. Chester had to teach me how to do it at first. I thought he was nuts. why would you want to get all wets. but now it’s so much fun. When I see mom coming with our bath dish I start singing and dancing. I can’t wait to get my bath. OH Boy. I love baths.

I’m sorry iffin I didn’t write a good story, I’m not use to having to do this. Chester insisted that I do so. He said I needed to learn how write more cause I might have to take over his blog when he becomes president. I hope he does but then I don’t. It’s scary to think of him in that big white house running this country. I think he would make a great president. but I think it will be lonely too. I wont get to see him as much as I do now, so I sometimes hope he don’t win. I know that sound mean but I love him and don’t want to miss him.

Ok I hope you like my writing

Description from the ebay page:

This unique hanging lamp features the Major Mitchell’s Cockatoo. The bird is made of bisque and measures about 17″ bent over from head to tail. She is hand cast, fired and then reshaped to fit this piece. This beautiful birdie is completely hand-painted and VERY LIFELIKE as she hangs on the chandelier looking down with her beak open. Her crest is completely raised in anticipation of who may walk below! She swings on a metal and glass “Art Deco” lamp. The lamp is 21″ high (without the chain), 15″ wide and is finished in antique gold. The pair of glass Art Deco shades are frosted and speckled with a pale opalescent pink and antique gold. There is an on/off button in the center of the lamp. The lamp does have a plug on it, so it can be plugged into a wall outlet (you will need an extension cord to do this). Or it can be wired into the ceiling. This lamp does NOT come with the chain. The piece is ONE OF A KIND and will NEVER BE DUPLICATED. It is signed and dated and is an original design and creation.
