I got this idea from another blog.
Here’s how it works: I will be offering a parrot or bird related product and to enter for a chance to win it, you must simply post a comment on the post! After the post receives 100 comments, then a winner will be chosen randomly out of the 100 that posted comments.
Simple enough? Sure…
I will see what I can find to offer!

even cooking anything!
… people ask you how many birds you have and your answer always
begins with “about..” usually followed by a good guess.
… your husband answers to the birds calling his name, and doesn’t
when you call him.
… you have so much seed on the floor you wonder when grass will start to grow.
… you try to invent something you can’t explain to the everyday person.
… if you get nervous when your house is quiet.
… you can tell who if eggs are being laid just by the smell of the room
… your dogs don’t even chase wild birds anymore in fear of being scolded!
… you own a fish tank that has never even been filled with water.
… you have begged your local walmart to carry the seed you perfer.
… instead of a broom, you use a leave blower to clean up seeds
… you wake up at 5 in the morning questioning why you ever bought
that first bird.
… you cook 2 different dinners, or breakfasts
… you crush up the whole egg to scamble it.
… you go to work with seed in your hair.
…you keep answering the door bell or telephone when no one is ever there.
…you haven’t taken a vacation or even been away from home overnight in
many years.
…you don’t have any wall decorations that aren’t screwed into the 2×4’s for when those babies take flight…..
… you go grocery shopping, and the healthiest items in your cart are for your birds, not you.
…you have infant toys all over your living room and your “baby” will be 18 in 2 months.
…or, when people point out you’ve some green and white
spots on the back of your tee-shirt…
…you get a piece of millet in your mouth and you actually decide to taste it…and it isn’t bad….
…you have bird poo on your shoulders or in your hair
…your husband or wife asks what smells so good in the crock pot only to find out it is bird food…
…you can’t help but buy tons of storage containers just b/c they’ll make great baby carriers or brooders…
…you walk in your door and get greeted by I Love you’s and your
husband or wife isn’t home yet!
…you go out shopping with a friend who is looking at baby toys for their child and you’re wondering if your parrots would like it too.
…every picture and mirror hanging on the wall has a towel over it to catch the bird poo.
… bird seed falls out of your pants in front of the doctor!

I have also created a squidoo group for people who have lost pets. It is very simple to create your own custom page in memory of your dear pet. It is for all pets, not just birds.

And follow the easy steps.
It may take me a few hours to get the notification that there is a new lens, but I will approve it as soon as I can!
