“Here is Pollito, our sweet Blue Pi, also from the rainforest of Peru. I was in Tambopata years ago and saw his brothers and sisters who live in the wild, gathered at the clay lick by the Tambopata river: the most amazing natural spectacle one can see.

Pollito’s name means “little chicken” in Spanish. When he first came to our home we named him Bucky, but his “pock, pock, pock” sounds and his chubby shape made him look like a chicken or hen, so we had to re-name him. LOL!

Hope you like his picture as much as we love his sweet and mellow disposition.”
